Getting ready to start solids? Read this first…

We have fed babies for generations, we wouldn’t be here if we didn’t know how to do it successfully! HOWEVER there are so many ways of doing it – and with the internet and social media (and reels) – everyone is an ‘expert’ these days. Navigating this overwhelming amount of information from all these sources, and adding in friends, and family, and in laws, and the woman you bump into in the supermarket… it can leave you feeling super confused, and even more anxious about what to do

Well, I am on a mission to help parents feel confident starting solids with their little ones and to show them how easy it can be to make nourishing, home-cooked food which can be enjoyed by the whole family including babies.

Welcome to my blog which includes bits and bobs to help you on your starting solids journey - you can also check out my original 30-days of weaning series which is over on my instagram page along with an endless supply of super tasty and nourishing recipes for the whole family!!! (You won’t spy a bland veg puree here…)

You can also check out one of my online weaning workshops where you will learn how to feed your baby with confidence, and how to nourish them safely with tasty and nutritious meals to support healthy development and reduce the risk of fussy eating and nutrition deficiencies like iron, vitamin D and essential fats! The focus is on a natural approach to weaning, with fresh home-cooked meals and maximising nutrition! I also run a virtual clinic for that extra level of support

If you don’t know where to go next, start with ‘how on earth do I know when my baby is ready to start solids’.
